COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan reach 9,576
272 more COVID-19 cases were registered in Kazakhstan in the last 24 hours, including 25 in Almaty, 56 in Nur-Sultan, 15 in Atyrau region, 49 in Karagandy region, 17 in Shymkent, 21 in West Kazakhstan region, four in Zhambyl region, 17 in Turkistan region, 20 in Kyzylorda region, 14 in Almaty region, 22 in Aktobe region, one in Pavlodar region, one in Mangystau region, two in Akmola region, five in Kostanai region, one in East Kazakhstan region and two in North Kazakhstan region. The infection spread grew 2.9 percent.
To date, there are 9,576 COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan. Almaty has the the biggest number of 2,378 cases of infection, followed by Nur-Sultan with 1,820 cases. There are a total of 959 confirmed coronavirus cases in Atyrau region, 754 in Karagandy region, 730 in Shymkent, 493 in West Kazakhstan region, 362 in Zhambyl region, 354 in Turkistan region, 324 in Kyzylorda region, 319 in Almaty region, 304 in Aktobe region, 192 in Pavlodar region, 177 in Mangystau region, 149 in Akmola region, 136 in Kostanai region, 74 in East Kazakhstan region and 51 in North Kazakhstan region.
A total of 4,768 COVID-19 patients in Kazakhstan reported to have recovered. The overall coronavirus-related death toll in the country stands at 37.
