311 more COVID-19 cases were registered in Kazakhstan in the last 24 hours, including 142 in Atyrau region, 36 in Nur-Sultan, 31 in Shymkent, 24 in Almaty, 19 in Kostanai region, 18 in Turkistan region, 13 in Karagandy region, eight in Akmola region, six in West Kazakhstan region, four in Kyzylorda region, three in Zhambyl region, three in Almaty region, two in Pavlodar region, one in North Kazakhstan region and one in Mangystau region. The growth of the coronavirus cases in the country amounted to 4.8 percent.

To date, there are 6,751 COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan, including 1,872 in Almaty, 1,287 in Nur-Sultan, 769 in Atyrau region, 435 in Shymkent, 329 in West Kazakhstan region, 263 in Karagandy region, 250 in Kyzylorda region, 240 in Turkistan region, 228 in Aktobe region, 212 in Almaty region, 208 in Zhambyl region, 167 in Pavlodar region, 162 in Mangystau region, 134 in Akmola region, 98 in Kostanai region, 58 in East Kazakhstan region and 39 in North Kazakhstan region.

A total of 3,469 COVID-19 patients in Kazakhstan reported to have recovered. The overall coronavirus-related death toll in the country stands at 35.
