COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan reach 5,689
According to the Kazakh Health Ministry, 118 more coronavirus cases were registered in Kazakhstan in the last 24 hours, including 25 in Nur-Sultan, 11 in Almaty, five in Shymkent, four in Akmola region, 29 in Aktobe region, one in Almaty, 17 in Atyrau region, one in East Kazakhstan region, two in Zhambyl region, seven in West Kazakhstan region, eight in Karagandy region, four in Kostanai region, one in Kyzylorda region and three in Mangystau region. The growth of the COVID-19 cases in the country amounted to 2.1 percent.
To date, there are 5,689 COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan, including 1,173 in Nur-Sultan, 1,689 in Almaty, 255 in Shymkent, 114 in Akmola region, 213 in Aktobe region, 191 in Almaty region, 474 in Atyrau region, 56 in East Kazakhstan region, 201 in Zhambyl region, 279 in West Kazakhstan region, 212 in Karagandy region, 72 in Kostanai region, 232 in Kyzylorda region, 141 in Mangystau region, 155 in Pavlodar region, 36 in North Kazakhstan region and 196 in Turkistan region.
A total of 2,531 COVID-19 patients in Kazakhstan reported to have recovered. The overall coronavirus-related death toll in the country stands at 34.
