COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan reach 4,298
Today new coronavirus cases were registered in Shymkent, Kyzylorda region, Kostanai region, Mangystau region, Atyrau region and West Kazakhstan region. The chief sanitary doctor of the Atyrau region introduced additional quarantine restrictions at the Tengiz oil field for 14 days due to its unfavorable epidemiological situation caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.
To date, there are 4,298 COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan, including 754 in Nur-Sultan, 1,392 in Almaty, 222 in Shymkent, 101 in Akmola region, 168 in Aktobe region, 163 in Almaty region, 226 in Atyrau region, 30 in East Kazakhstan region, 162 in Zhambyl region, 208 in West Kazakhstan region, 169 in Karagandy region, 54 in Kostanai region, 222 in Kyzylorda region, 90 in Mangystau region, 152 in Pavlodar region, 30 in North Kazakhstan region and 155 in Turkistan region.

1,299 patients recovered; 30 died.
