COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan reach 3,063
36 more cases of coronavirus were registered in Kazakhstan, bringing the total number to 3,063. Almaty still has the biggest number of 924 cases, followed by Nur-Sultan with 612 cases and Kyzylorda region with 187 cases. 182 infected people were reported in Shymkent, 139 in Karagandy region, 131 in Atyrau region, 127 in West Kazakhstan region, 124 in Turkistan region, 122 in Pavlodar region, 113 in Zhambyl region, 113 in Almaty region, 98 in Akmola region, 65 in Aktobe region, 45 in Kostanai region, 34 in Mangystau region, 30 in North Kazakhstan region, and 17 in East Kazakhstan region.
725 people recovered; 25 died.
Meanwhile, seven patients were transferred from intensive care to regular rooms in a hospital, Kazakh Health Ministry reported.
“Two people of them are in Almaty, two in Kyzylorda region, one in Nur-Sultan, one in West Kazakhstan region and one in Atyrau region,” said the statement.
Doctors said that the patients’ condition improved and believed that they no longer need intensive care.
