Global coronavirus cases approach two million
According to the data from Johns Hopkins University, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases worldwide is close to two million. Total of over 446,000 patients reported to have recovered. 
Currently, the United States is the hardest-hit country by the coronavirus pandemic. The COVID-19 has now infected over 582,000 people in the U.S.
Meanwhile, Spain recorded a total of more than 170,000 coronavirus cases and 17,756 deaths. The COVID-19 cases in Italy reached 159,516. Italy’s coronavirus death toll is 20,465. France recorded a total of around 137,000 infected. Germany reported a total of 130,000 confirmed coronavirus cases. The COVID-19 cases in the United Kingdom approached nearly 89,000.
The top ten countries with the biggest number of the novel coronavirus cases include China with nearly 83,000 reported cases, Iran with over 73,000 infections, then Turkey with 61,000 confirmed cases and Belgium with over 30,500 COVID-19 patients.
Coronavirus situation in India is also not so positive. With over 1,200 new COVID-19 infections reported in the past 24 hours, the total number of coronavirus cases in India rose to more than 10,000.
