COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan exceed 1,000
As many as 140 people were infected in Kazakhstan over the past 24 hours, taking the total number of cases to 1,091. For the first time, Almaty has the biggest number of 271 cases. 260 cases have been reported in Nur-Sultan, 38 in Shymkent, 73 in Akmola region, 11 in Aktobe region, 22 in Almaty region, 62 in Atyrau region, eight in East Kazakhstan region, 46 in Zhambyl region, 11 in West Kazakhstan region, 77 in Karagandy region, three in Kostanai region, 119 in Kyzylorda region, ten in Mangystau region, ten in Pavlodar region, 26 in North Kazakhstan region and 44 in Turkistan region.
138 people fully recovered; 14 people died.
