Chinese doctors arrive in Kazakhstan to share experience in fighting COVID-19
The team of 10 doctors from China arrived in Kazakhstan to assist the country’s ongoing efforts in fight against COVID-19. During the next two weeks, the highly qualified Chinese doctors will be sharing their experience in the diagnosis and treatment of coronavirus infected patients with their colleagues from Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Karagandy. The Chinese delegation will also talk about the measures to contain the further spread of COVID-19.
“As you know, to date there are patients in Kazakhstan, who have fully recovered from coronavirus. However, we also have patients who are in critical condition. A number of such patients are on a ventilator. Therefore, we are looking forward to exchanging our experiences in battling the infection with our foreign colleagues,” said Kazakh Deputy Healthcare Minister Kamalzhan Nadyrov.
“We have readily arrived in Kazakhstan. In this regard, our goal is to share our experience in fighting the coronavirus infection. All the team members are with firsthand experiences in treating COVID-19 patients or controlling the epidemic in Xinjiang. We will unreservedly share our experience with Kazakh counterparts. I believe that our bilateral cooperation will become even stronger,” said Chinese doctor Lu Chen.
