EAEU Members Restrict Exports to Fight COVID-19
Eurasian Economic Commission has made a decision to impose temporary restrictions on exports of protective equipment, disinfectants and medical goods from the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union. The measure is aimed to ensure the local markets have enough supply of the essential sanitary products used to fight the COVID-19 spread. The list of goods restricted for exporting include cotton, gauze, bandages, face masks, half-face masks, respirator masks, respirators, filters for personal respiratory protection equipment, goggles, shoe covers, certain types of clothing and accessories, gloves. The new measure will be in effect until September 30.
