Infected Travelers Bring COVID-19 to China
Chinese health authorities concluded that the infected travelers bring the coronavirus with them to China. It is the people, who have arrived from abroad, that test positive for the dangerous virus in the country. In the last 24 hours, the Mainland China has reported 34 new COVID-19 cases. There are 21 confirmed coronavirus cases in Beijing, nine in Guandong Province, two in Shanghai and one in Heilongjiang and one in Zhejiang Provinces. According to the Spokesperson of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the most important thing now is to prevent the new surge of the coronavirus imported from foreign countries and strengthen the international cooperation to jointly respond to the situation. Currently, everyone arriving to China from abroad is undergoing a serious medical inspection. Travelers are sent to two-week quarantine. Domestic production is gradually resuming and daily life is reviving in the Chinese cities.
