Kazakhstan Evacuated Kazakh Citizens from Chinese City of Wuhan
Kazakhstan evacuated 83 Kazakh citizens from Wuhan, China. 80 of them are students. They were assisted by Kazakh doctors who were equipped with the necessary personal protective equipment. The citizens will be placed in special quarantine facilities for 14 days.
The facility is located seven kilometers away from the Kazakh capital. The returning citizens will be tested for the coronavirus infection. During the quarantine period, the doctors who had previously worked with especially dangerous infections will come into contact with the arrived citizens. On behalf of the Head of State, Kassym Jomart-Tokayev, the first team of humanitarian aid has arrived in China.
