Nur-Sultan Hosted Photo Exhibition the Power of Emotions. Germany 19/19

A photo exhibition “The Power of Emotions. Germany 19/19” which showcases events of German history of the past century through the prism of personal perception was organized in Nur-Sultan.

The event is organized at the capital’s modern art gallery, TSE Art Destination and presented by the German Embassy in Kazakhstan.

The authors of the photos are German historians, Ute and Bettina Frevert. The main exhibits include photographs, historical documents as well as information collages and carefully selected video clips. According to art critics, the authors’ idea has involuntarily influenced the visitors’ perception on the milestones of Germany’s history.

“This exhibition is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of German state as well as the 30th anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall. The exhibition is very informative as it presents every poster which expresses the feelings of the German people in certain times and events. This global project is being showcased not only in Kazakhstan, but also organized by the German Embassy in all the countries,” said Art Director of Gallery of Contemporary Art, Baurzhan Sagiyev.
