Nur-Sultan Hosted a Forum of Craftspeople
Nur-Sultan hosted a Forum of Craftspeople. Hundreds of local and foreign masters, international speakers and distributers of products took part in the event.
Traditional items made of leather, wool, clay and silver were displayed at the exhibition. Master classes and B2B meetings were also held as part of the forum. The event participants have discussed issues and prospects of craftsmanship as well as exchanged experiences and established contacts for further cooperation.
Tajik experts showed a particular interest in development of partnership with local masters. They also said that this interaction will allow finding new markets for selling products.
“Our national clothes are popular now. Almost everyone in Europe wears them. People in the U.S. and Russia like our clothes as well. I see Kazakhs also like our trending clothing. This is a reason behind our arrival,” said Tajik Craftsperson, Abdusaid Koziyev.
“We are establishing contacts on yarn and Angora wool. We have agreed to barter. We will consider topics on transporting the products. We want the products to arrive on time at the affordable price,” said Tajik Craftsperson, Abdukakhor Khamdanov.
