A new Ukrainian cultural and information center opened in Astana
A new Ukrainian cultural and information center opened in Astana. It is created for educational activities and strengthening ties with Kazakhstan. Its visitors can watch films and TV programs in the Ukrainian language. Special classes will be organized for those who wish to learn the Ukrainian language or the history of the state, its geography, customs and traditions. The opening of the center is marking the 100th anniversary of Ukrainian diplomacy. Kazakhstan has been closely cooperating with Ukraine since the very beginning of gaining independence.

- The center is offering not only what everyone is accustomed to, songs, dances, Taras Shevchenko, but also extensive information about Ukraine. These are informal meetings with journalists, businessmen, presentation of Ukraine as a business partner, business opportunities, presentation of tourist and investment and all other opportunities.
