Abilkhan Kasteyev State Museum of Arts hosted presentation of the collection ‘Fine Arts of Kazakhstan’
The history of development of fine arts in Kazakhstan is collected in one catalog. The Abilkhan Kasteyev State Museum of Arts hosted a solemn presentation of the collection titled ‘Fine Arts of Kazakhstan.’ The catalog consists of two parts. Art historians from all over the world can get acquainted with the works of Russian masters thanks to the publication.

- The event is not only important to the museum and its staff, but it is also significant to all researchers of art history around the world. The museum’s primary goal is to create a collection as well as store and process it. This catalog will present fine arts of Kazakhstan in its unbelievably beautiful volume.
The first volume includes more than 1000 works by Kazakh artists. The catalog ‘Fine Arts of Kazakhstan’ grasps the period from 1936 to 2016. The pages reflect the most striking events and their impact on development of fine arts of Kazakhstan.

The collection is important in popularizing and promoting the Kazakh art abroad, too. The second volume, which will include the remaining work, will be issued in early 2018.
