The exhibition titled "Kazakhstan through photographers’ eyes from around the world” was opened at the UN Headquarters in New York. The exposition presented photo works which entered the book of the same name. Previously Astana hosted a presentation of the book. There were 200 photos by famous masters like Pavel Antonov, Shigeru Yoshida and Andrey Martynov. They had worked in Kazakhstan for a year. Photo artists captured the international exhibition, a life of Kazakhs, various landscapes of the Great Steppe and architectural sights of the country. The exhibition was opened on the eve of Independence Day and will continue to work throughout the year.
SHUKIR SHAKHAI, PHOTOGRAPHER:
- Foreign photographers liked our landscapes very much. They were fascinated by them. They said that it is necessary to develop tourism in Kazakhstan so more people can get the opportunity to see these beauties.
