Ankara hosted an art festival, ‘My Friends are My Wealth’

Ankara hosted an art festival, ‘My Friends are My Wealth’. Earlier Istanbul and Bolu hosted the event, too. The festival was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the TURKSOY Secretary General, Honored Artist of Kazakhstan, Duisen Kaseinov. Outstanding musicians from different countries took part in the concert.

- The Turkic world is proud of Duisen Kaseinov who is a talented and well-grounded personality. He leads by example. He shows professionalism, has good personal qualities and skills in arts which are inspiring the younger generation.

Duisen Kaseinov’s friends took part in the festival, particularly, prominent state and public figures as well as popular musicians. Besides masterpieces by the Kazakh composers, the Turkic peoples’ songs and the best works of the world classics were staged. Famous composers like Myroslav Skoryk from Ukraine and Rovshan Nepesov from Turkmenistan dedicated their works to Duisen Kaseinov.

- I dedicated my work to him and every time I see Kaseinov, every time I read about him in newspapers or in the Internet, music plays in my soul. I performed this music today.

During the solemn evening, Duisen Kaseinov and his students performed Antonio Vivaldi's ‘Concerto for Four Violins’ and Frank Sinatra's ‘My Way’. The sophisticated audience enjoyed the virtuosic plays.

 - The concert was wonderful. I want to see more performances by talents of the Turkic world. In the evening about 20 masterpieces were staged. I would say that each of them spoke to me.

At the end of the evening, on behalf of President of Kazakhstan, Abzal Saparbekuly, Kazakh ambassador to Turkey ordered the diplomatic rank of the Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary of the first class to Duisen Kaseinov, the TURKSOY Secretary General. On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abzal Saparbekuly also awarded Duisen Kaseinov with the anniversary medal, ‘25 Years of Kazakhstan’s Diplomatic Service’. Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan will host the jubilee festival, too.
