Kazakh Government presents draft National Plan for implementation of President’s state-of-the-nation address
Today the Government presented a draft National Plan for the implementation of measures envisioned in the Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s state-of-the-nation address. Kazakh Minister of National Economy Ruslan Dalenov said that the document is based on seven basic principles of the new economic course. It consists of 143 measures in ten key areas.
“State planning system will be further improved in accordance to the first area “New model of public administration”. Effective personnel policy and decision-making system will be ensured. Starting July 1, 2021, the switch to the new system of paying salaries to civil servants will be implemented to further increase the efficiency of state bodies’ activities,” said the minister.
He also informed that the measures to reduce the state involvement in the economy will be continued in the country. A total of ten such measures are planned to be implemented.
“The second area is “Economic development in new realities”. Its priority will be increasing competitiveness of manufacturing industry, the share of Kazakh content will be raised as well. A particular attention will be paid to the development of potential of agro-industrial complex. An active development of the country's transport and transit sector will continue. Support and development of small and medium-sized business entities will be continued as well, including the affected economic fields. Monetary policy will play an important stimulating role,” said Ruslan Dalenov.
Experts will draw attention to simplifying tax liabilities fulfillment and reducing underground economy as well. 42 measures are planned to be implemented in total.
