More than 1,000 types of goods have been identified in Kazakhstan

More than 1,000 types of goods that will substitute imports have been identified in Kazakhstan. 180 companies plan to implement projects that are aimed at supplying the domestic market with local products. In this regard, Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna has concluded agreements worth about 35 billion Tenge with a number of companies. 27 agreements on the creation of new enterprises have been approved. Investments amount to nearly 915 billion Tenge. As a result, Kazakhstan’s share in the Fund’s procurement in a number of areas reaches 60 percent. Kazakh Prime Minister, Askar Mamin, attended a forum on supporting domestic producers.

 “The stable growth of the national economy is closely related to domestic production and industry. The close cooperation among small and medium-sized businesses is also important. More than 200 of small and medium-sized companies take part in the forum. Thus, the dialogue between national companies and domestic producers has been established,” emphasized  Kazakh Prime Minister,  Askar Mamin.
