President Tokayev Awarded Best Producers in Kazakhstan
President of Kazakhstan has assigned the Government to increase the number of manufacturing companies that operates using digital technologies to 200. The task is expected to be completed by 2025. The aim of the directive is for the country to achieve full automation and robotization in its production.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that the Industry 4.0 is an important area in the development of industry in Kazakhstan. Pilot projects on digital transformation of enterprises are being implemented all over the country.
President Tokayev noted that being competitive in national business is a key goal for Kazakhstan. The core element of the country’s industrial policy is to stimulate the export activity and develop the domestic market.
“The implementation of the third industrialization program will start in 2020. We set the course for the development of export-oriented manufacturing industry with the maximum use of the potential of the private sector. The implementation of the third industrialization program should take into account the mistakes of the previous five-year plans as well as create the competitive manufacturing industry and achieve the following tasks, which include increase the export of processed products, manufacturing of products using technology as well as creation of high quality jobs,” said President Of Kazakhstan, Kassym Jomart-Tokayev.
President Tokayev has awarded the best producers in Kazakhstan. The winners were announced at the Altyn Sapa Presidential Award as well as the Best Product of Kazakhstan contest-exhibition.
This year, nearly 450 organizations submitted their application to take part in the competition.
