Shymkent-Made Transformers to be Exported to CIS Countries
Kazakhstan plans to expand the exports of transformers to neighboring countries.
The plant for the transformer equipment production in Shymkent is a unique enterprise that is the only one available in Central Asia. It produces electrical devices with voltage from 110 to 500 kilowatts.
The production capacity of the plant is 120 transformers per year. The company plans not only to cover the domestic demand, but also to enter foreign markets.
50% of the products produced at the plant will be exported to foreign countries, mostly to the Commonwealth of Independent Countries.
The total cost of the project amounted to nearly 19 billion tenge.
“We will ship our transformers to Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. Due to the territorial proximity, we will deliver immediately without any delays. The quality of our products is very high,” said Project Manager, Yerkebulan Ilyasov.
