President Tokayev: SMEs will be Exempted from Tax and Auditing for 3 Years

The most up to date topics of Kazakh society is reflected in the state-of-the-nation address by President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

New reforms in judiciary, tax, agriculture, education and law enforcement are expected.

All the goals set in the President's state-of-the-nation address depend on the present, Tokayev said.

Development of small and medium-sized businesses will be expanded in Kazakhstan. SMEs will be exempted from tax and auditing for three years.

The law will take effect starting 2020. A draft law on the three-year exemption from tax for new businesses would also be prepared.

“Developing small and medium-sized businesses are a solid foundation for the development of cities and villages. Microbusiness plays a special and important role in the socio-political life of our country. In particular, rural residents are provided with work. Unemployment is declining. The creation of a tax base as well as the liberalization of consciousness will allow developing mass entrepreneurship,” said President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
