Kazakhstan to Produce Vehicles and Automotive Parts with Russia
Kazakhstan will soon produce agricultural, cargo and passenger vehicles as well as automotive components after adopting joint efforts program in the industrial cooperation with its neighboring country, Russia.
Kazakh Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development, Roman Skylar said the agreement of the joint efforts was signed with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
He said the partnership between the two countries will be on the development of industrial cooperation, particularly in mechanical engineering.
“We comprehend that we have to do and carry out active work on placing the engineering components produced in our country. With our Russian partners, we have come to the conclusion that some of the Kazakh companies will supply the automotive components manufactured in Kazakhstan,” Skylar added.
The projects are expected to make a significant contribution to the development of the industries of the two countries.
A number of projects will be launched in Kostanai, Nur-Sultan and Shymkent this year.
