Germany Supports Kazakh Agricultural Development
Germany views Kazakhstan as an important trade partner with huge export potential and promising industrial developments particularly agriculture.
The German investors attended a business meeting with Kazakh officials in Berlin, where the latter had a presentation on Kazakhstan’s agricultural capacity as well as the local Government’s support towards foreign investors and investment opportunities.

- At the meeting, we learned about Kazakhstan’s agricultural capacity and identified areas where we can participate. Kazakhstan and Germany established close cooperation. Kazakhstan is an important market for Germany with a good export opportunity.
The Kazakh officials also informed the investors on several upcoming regional projects. The North Kazakhstan authorities briefed the Germans on the wheat processing factory project.

- The meeting was successful. Local entrepreneurs approached us after the meeting to share their plans to participate in projects in our region. For example, they want to construct a poultry farm. Another investor wants to launch a wood processing business. We are ready to assist our German partners.
Meanwhile, Germany is ready to invest in more projects in Kazakhstan as well as share its advanced technologies and best practices.
