Bureau of foreign trade
This year the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Poland can reach US$700 million. The volume of investments will increase, too. The Polish business has already invested US$300 million in the Kazakh economy. In order to improve efficiency, Poland has changed the model to support exports and investments in Kazakhstan. If earlier the Polish representation in Kazakhstan was responsible for development of bilateral economic cooperation, now the Bureau of Foreign Trade will perform a part of duties. The Bureau will begin its work in the first quarter of 2018 in Astana. Moreover, the organization will solve the questions in financing mutual investments. A working group was created for these purposes, and a credit line was set up in the Polish bank. The Bureau will issue loans worth 300 million euros to support businessmen in Kazakhstan.
