Mark Horton: Kazakhstan’s Economic Outlook

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects Kazakhstan’s economy to grow positively in 2018 with forecasted GDP of 4.5%. The organization’s chief mission to Kazakhstan, Mark Horton views that the structural reforms in Kazakhstan are the driver of the country’s economy. He also shares his thoughts on the Kazakh currency, Tenge as well as the Belt & Road Initiative.
